We're led by passion, but also this guy.
I've been moving people my whole life. By the age of ten I was being volunteered by my parents to every friend, family, and churchgoer who needed a hand. My father, grandfather and uncle taught me technique and I learned that getting paid in pizza wasn't so bad. Since then I moved on, earning a degree in advertising, followed by a ten year career as an advertising creative. But like so many I became disenchanted with the work from home lifestyle and the neverending meetings and insane deadlines. I missed working with my hands and body, so I joined an app that paired truck owners with people who needed small moves. I loved riding around the city all day and helping good people get their deliveries and marketplace purchases home. I loved it! And In 2023 that passion expanded when I met my first trio of stagers. As an ex creative, I appreciate curation and creative environments so seeing other people's vision come to life in the form of a home stage made the job more fulfilling. I quickly recognized that this was an industry that needed more than what the moving industry was providing. It pained me to see how much time my clients lost to logistics, and management of supplies and inventory. I think we can do better.
Palomino was born out of the belief that the right partner can bring stagers the breathing room they desperately need to grow their business and inventory, or at least dedicate more energy to the joy of designing and we're doing this by bringing more supplies and tools that go beyond a typical moving company's capabilities, focusing on presentation, and organization and building our knowledge of our client's inventory and preferences so that they can lead the job without having to micromanage every second of the job.
If this sounds like a service you could use, and a relationship you'd like to build, we want to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Curtis Peterschmidt
